Sexy New Banners

Friday 11 February, 2005 ( 6:54PM GMT)

The new @media 2005 bannersA new set of sexy little @media 2005 banners have been added to site.

If they were women I would cower in the corner, unable to stop staring at them, drooling whilst disgruntled in the knowledge that such attractive ladies are seldom accompanied by anything up top. I would try to tell myself "I'm not interested in their looks. They're blatantly bimbos and I like intelligence in a lady." But in this case, they are intelligent too. They're multi-layered sponge cakes with a cherry on top. And I'm not talking about those nasty glace cherries either.

You may be crying, "Banners like this don't exist in real life! They're just in films and music videos! I'll never get a banner like that!"
But, believe it or not, my friend, now you can. You can put one up on your web site and love it. It will love you back.
It might even buy you a gift of a PlayStation Portable.

It's like all of your Christmases have come at once, isn't it?

Isn't it?

Too far? :)

Wow, I feel really insulted by your choice of analogy. Are your standards of beauty defined entirely by supermodels or something?

Super models? Who said that? Personally, I don't find myself particularly attracted to super models, let alone base my standards of beauty on them.

Let's talk about banners, because the women issue leaves something to be desired. ;)

Overall, I like the banners. Sleek, "sexy", smart, and, most importantly, to the point. Not a lot of fanfare (which is either useful or not) with a great blend of colors that make them visually appealing. They aren't big (which may or may not be a problem) but are useful to put on a site. The only problem I have with the "banners", although they really look like buttons to me, is that they don't really say what its all about. Personally, if I saw this "banner" I wouldn't think twice about it. So on that side of the marketing scheme it fails but the colors and visual "likeness" are great. And, I could be mistaken, but maybe you wanted it vague and small, which would make me seem like a complete idiot. Either way, looks great.

There's my two cents. I doubt they'll help you at the bar with those ladies.
